    How Sponsoring Helps

    Lebo Pride is a nonprofit organization led by queer and gender diverse community members and allies, created to show that Mt. Lebanon residents welcome, celebrate, and support their LGBTQIA+ neighbors. Our annual Lebo Pride Celebration is an all-ages event focused on Celebration, Education, and Visibility.

    Your generous support allows us to:

    • promote the event to Mt. Lebanon and surrounding communities to ensure the annual Lebo Pride Celebration is a success;
    • create dynamic programming such as Drag Queen story hour, a clothing swap for teenagers, crafting stations for all ages, interactive activities for families, and live music;
    • partner with local businesses to ensure this event is both supported by and supports our vibrant Uptown business district and the Uptown Market;
    • ensure the event is safe, fun, and accessible for all, by supporting logistics like refillable hydration stations and a sensory-friendly area for participants.

    This year, we’re introducing more equitable opportunities for nonprofit organizations and businesses that are operated by LGBTQIA+ people or make a direct impact on the LGBTQIA+ community. Sponsors that fall into these categories can get Light Blue, Pink, or White sponsorship levels!

    Explanation of Sponsor Benefits

    Verbal Recognition: If the sponsor is queer-owned or their sponsorship level indicates they are an “Ally”, then they will be mentioned by name at the event.

    Website: The sponsor will be listed on the Lebo Pride website with either their name or logo as indicated by their level of sponsorship. Featured sponsors will be listed on the event page with the link “View all sponsors”.

    Social Media: If featured, Lebo Pride will publish a dedicated post with the sponsor’s logo, short blurb, and tagged, if applicable. Otherwise, the sponsor will appear on Lebo Pride’s social media platforms as either a name or logo with other sponsors as indicated by their level of sponsorship.

    eNewsletter: If featured, Lebo Pride will send out an email newsletter with the sponsor’s logo, short blurb, and link to their website, if applicable. Otherwise, the sponsor will appear in the newsletter as either a name or logo with a hyperlink to their website as indicated by their level of sponsorship.

    Bag Stuffer Opportunity: An opportunity to include something in the Lebo Pride goodie bags handed out at our table.

    On-Site Event Signage: The sponsor will appear in the on-site event signage as either a name or logo as indicated by the level of their sponsorship.

    Event Poster: The sponsor will appear on the event poster as either a name or logo as indicated by the level of their sponsorship.

    Tabling Opportunity: An opportunity to attend the event as a vendor and have a table set up to provide information, food, snacks, wares, etc.

    Event T-Shirt: The sponsor will appear on the event T-shirt as either a name or logo as indicated by the level of their sponsorship.

    Activity Sponsor: An opportunity to choose an activity to sponsor. When the activity begins and ends, they will be verbally recognized as that activity’s sponsor.

    Speaker Opportunity: An opportunity to have a representative on the stage talk for 1-3 minutes.

    Failure to provide assets by the deadline may result in forfeiting the benefit. Speaker and bag stuffer opportunities are not guaranteed. All speakers and their content and any items being provided for the Lebo Pride goodie bags are subject to approval by the Lebo Pride Board of Directors. Speakers may not deviate from what has been approved.

    Definitions

    Queer-Owned: Any organization or business that is owned or operated by a queer individual or majority-queer group.

    Queer-Focused: Any organization or business that specifically serves, or sells to, the queer and gender diverse community.

    Queer-Adjacent: Any organization or business whose products/services directly benefit the queer and gender diverse community.

    Light Blue Sponsorship Level: any queer-focused non-profit organization that donates a minimum of $1 and less than $2,500.

    Pink Sponsorship Level: any queer-owned or queer-focused business or organization that donates a minimum of $100 and less than $2,500.

    White Sponsorship Level: any queer-adjacent non-profit organizations that donates a minimum of $250 and less than $2,500.
